Bodø Airport is located 1200 meters from Bodø city center, so you can actually walk the short distance to the town.

The airport has up to 13 daily connections to Oslo (Gardermoen, OSL), 7 Trondheim (Værnes), 6 to Tromso and up to 18 daily direct connections to Lofoten. You can fly SAS, Norwegian, Widerøe and Wizz Air to Bodø airport.

Train

The Nordlandsbanen is called one of the world’s most beautiful train lines, and winds its way 730 km north from Trondheim to Bodø.

Bodo station is end station on Nordlandsbanen, 728.75 km from Trondheim.
The station is located roughly 400 meters east of Bodø, located at the junction Jernbaneveien, Bankgata and Sjøgata.

Trondheim Airport Værnes serves international and national flights.

From the airport you can go by express bus or train to Trondheim.

BY TRAIN
There are four daily trains between Oslo and Trondheim on the Dovre line. The journey takes approximately 7 hours.

Trondheim can also be easily reached by train from many other Norwegian cities.

BY BUS
There are several daily bus departures from Oslo and other major cities to Trondheim. Travel time from Oslo is around 8 hours.

We head south from Bodø, gateway to the true north, to the vibrant city of Trondheim. Known for its mighty cathedral, Viking history and local cuisine, Norway’s third largest city has just over 200,000 inhabitants.

We  will stop and drop anchor close to the Svartisen glacier. Norway’s second largest glacial mass has 60 “ice tongues” and covers 370 square kilometres. After a short hike, we will have lunch ashore.
