Kristiansand is the capital of Southern Norway. Within the very compact city centre, you’ll find great shopping and lots of restaurants, cafés and night clubs. Visit Fiskebrygga restaurant area for a bite to eat or just an ice cream in the sun. Make sure to stop by the fishmonger and try the local specialities. Take a stroll along the beach promenade to Bystranda, the local city beach. Or go for a hike in the nearby forest areas of Odderøya and Baneheia. Here you can also go for a swim in an inland lake or in the sea. If you want more action, try sea rafting or visit one of the climbing parks, Xland and Høyt & Lavt.

A visit to Dyreparken, Kristiansand Zoo, is also a popular pastime in Kristiansand, especially for families.

Kristiansand Airport Kjevik is located 10 kilometers from Kristiansand city centre. You can arrive at Kjevik Airport by plane from major Norway cities. SAS, Widerøe and Norwegian have arrivals from Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger and Trondheim.

There are direct international arrivals from Copenhagen, Amsterdam, London and Gdansk. You will find four car rental firms based at Kristiansand Airport Kjevik.

To and from Kristiansand Airport Kjevik

Between Kristiansand and Kjevik the airport bus service consists of the regular bus service on line 35. The bus stop is just outside of the terminal. You will also find bussed to Lillesand, Grimstad, Arendal. Two taxi companies operates at Kristiansand airport, Kjevik.
